Hush Acoustics – 2 Year Limited Warranty
As of January 2024
This warranty covers products manufactured by ‘Hush Acoustics’ and is subject to the following:
- ‘Hush Acoustics’ warrants the manufacture of all our products to be free from defects
in materials and workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase.
- In the instance of goods sold by ‘Hush Acoustics’ that have been produced by an other manufacturer, ‘Hush Acoustics’ passes on the said manufactures warranty to the purchaser.
- This warranty does not cover improperly installed product or consequential claims.
- This warranty applies to products sold only to the original purchasers acquiring our products through authorized dealers, directly from ‘Hush Acoustics’, or from other authorized resellers.
EXCLUSIONS – This limited warranty excludes:
- Apparent defects caused by abusive or abnormal use of the product.
- ‘Hush Acoustics’ cannot be held responsible for variations of dye colour from order to order, a degree of colour variation is possible during manufacture due to the recycled content of the product and should be expected by the purchaser. PET acoustic felt is not colour fast in strong UV light and fading will not be considered covered by this warranty.
- Products not assembled, installed or used in compliance with ‘Hush Acoustics’ product instructions or warnings.
- Failures resulting from inadequate inspection and maintenance.
- The effects of normal usage over time.
- Any damage caused during shipping. (Freight claims must be filed online at Hush Acoustics Contact Form)
- Product modifications not approved by ‘Hush Acoustics’.
- Rust on metal elements (such as hardware) caused by natural elements (outdoors) or high exposure to moisture.
‘Hush Acoustics’ will repair or replace, at its discretion, any product manufactured by the company which proves to be defective in original material or workmanship as long as the product is owned by its original purchaser.
‘Hush Acoustics’ is not liable or responsible for any labour charges or travel costs due to the replacement of items or parts.
‘Hush Acoustic’ products may be installed in areas that are subject to fire and/or building codes applicable to that specific application. Due to the variance of such codes the Purchaser is solely responsible for proper application of the purchased ‘hush acoustic’ items within the limitations of such codes.
When a Purchaser has submitted their own plans, design drawings and/or specifications ‘Hush Acoustics’ will not be responsible for the design and fitting of such components. All products manufactured by ‘Hush Acoustics’ will be to the standard tolerances, fit and finish and appearance of the normal standards of ‘Hush Acoustics’.
‘Hush Acoustics’ judgement will be final in all matters concerning the condition of the products, the cause or nature of the defect, and the necessity or manner of repair.
