Situation

The client faced a tight project timeline and required custom-sized pieces with a specific graphic pattern. Unfortunately, their previous supplier couldn’t meet the deadline. With a commitment to precision and timeliness, we stepped in to ensure that each piece was meticulously crafted and delivered promptly, meeting the client’s exact specifications and timeline.

Challenge

Indoor pools, while a hub of fun and activity for children, can quickly become a source of overwhelming noise. The combination of excited voices, splashing water, and the acoustics of an enclosed space amplifies sound, making it challenging to maintain a pleasant environment. Effective acoustic treatments are essential to mitigate this noise, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the pool area without the discomfort of excessive noise levels.

This client had a unique vision, and it took something out of the ordinary to fulfill it in such a big space.

Solution

One of the prominent walls featured colored pop-up circles of various sizes set against a grey acoustic panel, creating a vibrant focal point. The other pool walls were decorated with a stunning mosaic of colors, created by using uniquely shaped wall tiles. This combination added a dynamic and visually appealing aesthetic to the pool area, enhancing its overall atmosphere and design, in addition to the acoustical function.

Timing was very crucial for this project, the pool was only to be closed for only short period of time while routine maintenance was being done. A few design changes had been made after the project had started, so Hush Acoustics had to be creative in finding ways to regain some time. The solution: using a helicopter to deliver the goods, saving 4 days of regular ground travel and enabling the project to remain on time.
